Virtual sitter users can switch between fixed and Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ) cameras on device video tile
Virtual sitter users can now switch between the fixed camera and the PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) camera on a video tile, providing greater flexibility and control over patient observation.
- In a single user session a virtual sitter now has access to TV Pro PTZ camera view and motion control in tile view. In concurrent sessions with both virtual sitter and virtual consult users, the TV Pro PTZ camera stream will be shared between users, but the user with camera control access will be provisioned.
- Virtual sitters can control the Pan and Tilt position of a PTZ camera by simply clicking within the video feed.
- Sitters can zoom in and out by scrolling the mouse wheel while hovering over a PTZ camera video feed.
- Virtual sitters can also adjust the Pan, Tilt, and Zoom (PTZ) position of the camera by clicking then holding and dragging the mouse cursor over the area to be enlarged, and then releasing the mouse button. This zooms in on the selected area.
- Camera feeds from a TV Pro 300 can be viewed by a virtual sitter and virtual consult user at the same time. The user who has control over a camera is determined by a setting that is provisioned to TV Pro devices. Users who do not have priority camera controls will be informed that another user has camera control.
- Virtual sitters can toggle lowlight mode on the PTZ camera, enhancing visibility in lowlight conditions such as when the room lights are off
- Virtual sitters can reset and recalibrate the camera if it has been physically moved out of position.
- Note: While PTZ is in use by a virtual sitter, providers cannot use the PTZ camera and will be shown a notice in iOS PAS or Windows PAS if they try to access the PTZ. (iOS PAS updates will be released separately on Dec. 3, 2024.)

This update ensures that key settings for virtual sitters, such as privacy mode, lowlight mode, selected camera, and PTZ camera position, are preserved when devices are transferred from one session to another. This enhancement eliminates the need to re-adjust these settings, providing a seamless transition and consistent monitoring experience.
