This release is focused on allowing Solo users to select a language of their choice.
Patient Experience
Patients can now select a preferred language in the Solo patient app
We are pleased to announce a new feature that enables patients to change their language within the Patient App.
A Teladoc admin can help configure both the default language for their patients and define all supported patient languages for a practice. Solo users can also select a default "App Display Language" within a patient’s demographic settings.
This chosen language will serve as the patient’s default for their app experience, including SMS and email notifications. If an "App Display Language" is not selected for a patient, the default language will automatically be set to the practice’s specified default.
Once configured, patients can switch their language using a language selector available on iOS, Android, or web platforms.
We offer translations in a wide range of languages, including Spanish, French, German, Greek, Italian, Lithuanian, Arabic, Chinese, Ukrainian, and many others, with support for various regional dialects. If your preferred language is not listed, please contact us to explore potential support options.
Please note that this initial phase does not apply to Care Location or Solo with Teams applications.

Provider Experience
Providers can now select a preferred language in Solo
We are excited to introduce a new feature that allows users to change their language within the Provider App.
A Teladoc admin can help configure both a default language for their users along with all supported user languages for a practice, and individual users have the option to select their preferred language within their user settings. Provider SMS and email notifications will leverage the practice’s selected default language.
We offer translations in a wide range of languages, including Spanish, French, German, Greek, Italian, Lithuanian, Arabic, Chinese, Ukrainian, and many others, with support for various regional dialects. If your preferred language is not listed, please contact us to explore potential support options.
Please note that this initial phase does not include Smart Notes, Fleet Access Manager, Imaging, Solo w/ Teams, or Virtual Nursing applications.
