Slide Over Mode enhances the virtual care experience by allowing providers to view and interact with patients while simultaneously documenting in the same screen. This feature streamlines workflows and improves efficiency during video visits.
Who can use this feature?
- Administrators: Can enable or disable Slide Over Mode at both the practice and service levels.
- Providers: Can use Slide Over Mode during patient visits once it is enabled.
- Patient Visit Types:
- Encounters with devices assigned
- Scheduled patient sessions
- Scheduled device sessions
Pre-Requisites
Before using Slide Over Mode, ensure the following:
- Improved Video Call Experience is enabled for the practice.
How to Enable Slide Over Mode:
Practice-Level Settings
- Log in to Solo as an administrator.
- Navigate to Practice Settings on the left-hand menu.
- Locate and select Enable Slide Over Mode.
- All service lines will inherit this setting by default.
Service Settings
- Navigate to the Services tab on the left-hand menu.
- Click the gear icon next to the service you want to modify.
- Scroll down to find the Slide Over Mode setting.
- Choose one of the following options from the right-hand panel:
- Inherit from Practice Setting: Uses the practice-level configuration.
- Enable: Activates Slide Over Mode for this specific service.
- Disable: Turns off Slide Over Mode for this specific service.
- Service setting will over-ride the Practice Setting
- Click Save to apply your changes.
