This article explains how administrators can setup the Picture-in-Picture (PiP) feature for providers to pop out a video feed and move it around the screen while navigating other documents during a consultation.
Picture-in-Picture (PiP) allows providers to detach a video feed into a floating thumbnail window. This enables multitasking—such as reviewing clinical notes or Smart Notes—without losing sight of the video stream.
- The thumbnail remains visible while navigating other parts of Solo or external documents.
- This feature is especially useful for maintaining visual contact with patients while reviewing clinical notes or Smart Notes.
Pre-Requisites:
- The Improved Video Call Experience must be enabled for your practice.
Instructions
- No additional settings are required—PiP is enabled by default.
- Contact your Teladoc representative to have the Improved Video Call Experience enabled.
